jeg skal løbe mit første Hammer Trail i maj, kun 25 km., men jeg ville høre, om der var nogle af jer der har erfaringer med løbet. Jeg har masser af erfaring med flad landevej, men jeg er en total novice, når det kommer til trailløb.

I øjeblikket løber jeg omkring 70 km. om ugen fordelt på fire ture, den længste er ca. på 24 km. Jeg forsøger at lægge en tur ind om ugen, hvor jeg minimum rammer 300 højdemeter.


Kan jeg løbe i almindelige løbesko?
Hvor mange højdemeter er der på de 25 km.?
Skal man have drikkedunk/Camelbak med, eller kan man nøjes med vanddepoterne?
Hvordan er underlaget?
Skal jeg ændre på min træning op til?
Og det helt store spørgsmål, hvilken tid kan jeg forvente at ramme? Når jeg løber mine normale ture med 300+ højdemeter, løber jeg 4.35-4.45 uden de store problemer. Mine tider på flad landevej er omkring 38.30 på en hurtig 10´er. Jeg vil gerne nyde turen, men også gerne give den maks gas. og få en god tid...

ca. 1000meter hvor de 500meter, som jeg husker det, er lagt på de sidste 8 km

Har ikke prøvet 25 km. distancen, da jeg kun løber 50 miles i hyggetempo derovre - Men det rækker vist også til et par supplerende input :-)

Sko: Som nævnt trailsko, hvis det er vådt - læs=ekstra greb på jord, men de er samtidig mere glatte på de store sten/klippestykker, så du skal passe ekstra på i regnvejr med trailsko !

Underlag: Også klippestykker på en del strækninger - kræver lidt øvelse :-)

Træning: Du skal som nævnt træne noget mere i bakker, hvis tiden skal være god - Men du skal samtidig være OBS på, at du skal ud og løbe på et helt andet underlag, end du er vant til - Det betyder at du skal træne på tilsvarende underlag, så du er inde i rytmen med at aflæse underlaget i god fart - Hvis du ikke er forberedt på underlaget, så er der stor risiko for, at du losser til en sten eller lander skævt på en sten, så du vrider om.

Selvfølgelig kommer du igennem uden mere højdetræning og træning på ujævnt terræn, men det afgør hvor hurtigt - Og det finder du først ud af, når du kommer i mål.... ;-)

Så brug krudtet på den rette træning fremfor gætterier på tiden - Og go tur !

Jeg har løbet 50 og 100 miles de sidste 4 år og har derfor lidt erfaring. Med mindre ruten er helt knas tør vil jeg KLART anbefale trailsko.

Ruten er ret teknisk. Du vil have stor gavn af at træne dette evt. ved at løbe nogle MTB spor. Tving dig selv til at give den fuld gas :mrgreen:

Jeg ved ikke hvilke obligatoriske krav der er til 25 km. Men med det tempo du beskriver tror jeg du kan løbe ruten på ca. 2:20. Det betyder samtidig, at du ikke behøver væske med. Der er ét depot på ruten men også nogle vandhaner bl.a. ved Vang havn.
